Celebrating the Eastside Awards 🌟

On Friday 30th January, the Eastside Awards took place, celebrating the people, businesses and organisations that make East Belfast such a vibrant and inspiring place to be. The awards are an exciting initiative designed to highlight and celebrate all that is good about East Belfast, while showcasing the incredible contributions being made to the area’s economic, social and community development.

This year, I was incredibly proud to be shortlisted in the Sustainable Business of the Year category. To be recognised alongside so many amazing local businesses was truly an honour, and something I’m immensely grateful for.

Since starting AHL Apparel, I’ve been fortunate to be part of the Eastside Partnership community. From day one, they have been there offering support, advice and guidance, and their encouragement has played a huge role in my journey so far. Having that continued support makes moments like this even more special.

Sustainability has always been at the heart of what I do, so to be nominated in this category means the world to me. It’s a reminder of why I started and why I continue to push forward, even when things feel challenging.
